Martin's First Day of School

Martin is 16 years old now and has finally had his first day of school. We've been homeschooling all this time and now he's decided he'd like to go to high school. Today was his first day at Fossil Ridge High, the public high school for our neighborhood. He's on an IEP (Individualized Educational Plan) meaning that they are addressing his special needs due to autism. He's taking PE, U.S. Government, Reading, and Career Skills. It's a light load and we're still doing some things in our homeschool. Going to Fossil Ridge is giving him a chance to meet some new people and learn how to get along in a school environment. He had a great day at school today and thinks he'd like to go there till he graduates.
